Potential Job: Web Site Training
One of my (non-CIS) professors approached me recently, asking if I or someone else would be able to help an organization out. Here's the details:
We are a Slovenian social club that attracts mainly persons from a
Slovenian decent from the Niagara, K/W and Toronto region. We are
situated in Cambridge along HWY 401. Our website is
www.slovenskipark.com
The organization is looking for someone to assist us and train us on
maintaining a website. We wish to "spice-up" the home page and add
links that are of interest and importance to our members and visitors.
Ideally the person has the ability to conduct a training session and
has an interest in genealogy as it relates to attracting members of an
ethic designation. The club is also youth oriented. The club survives
on membership dues and financial assistance is limited.
It sounds like some good resume fodder. Unfortunately, I can't possibly fit more into my schedule, so I promised him I'd try to find someone who was willing. Email me at exec@cs-club.org, and I'll pass it on to him. Also, feel free to ask questions here, as always.
Thanks,
Randall Roberts

The trouble with computers is that they do what you tell them, not what you want.
