Somewhere near the end of that epic intro paragraph (topped off with all sorts of exciting bold and italicized words!) it says "visual affects techniques for the film industry".

*sigh*

This is a University after all... I don't think it's too much to ask for proper grammar and spelling on all UoG sites.

Perhaps they are just attempting to accurately portray the English skills of the students in the department.

They should. I know a lot of employers frown upon applicants with spelling and grammar mistakes in their resumes. Why would people not frown upon a department that makes such simple mistakes?

Seriously, it takes half a minute to do and makes a surprising amount of difference. I would hesitate to attend a school with spelling mistakes on their site, no sh*t.

half a minute once you can find the &^%! content in drupal. I finally remembered where it was stashed..... but it took me an embarassingly long time to do so.

I'm always logged in to the site, and that page only shows up when you are not logged in- so I never noticed it. Thanks for pointing it out.
