Position: Junior System Administrator

Description:
MRX is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual, to join our team as an intern System Administrator. This individual must excel in hands-on, problem solving of typical day-to-day IT related problems, and must be able to work both in a team as well as individually.
This individual will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and fun environment, as well as learn and assist in the implementation of the latest networking and technologies.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Assist Lead System Administrator with typical day-to-day computer and networking problems.
- Participate in building new, and enhancing current, systems.
- Assist in building / implementing a hardware and software inventory
- Assist in procuring hardware and software.
- Monitor network and system performance.

Requirements:
- Excellent time-management skills
- Demonstrated analytical / problem solving ability
- Time management and organizational skills
- Ability and desire to learn new skills quickly
- Working knowledge of:
- Windows 98 / 2000 / XP / Vista
- Mac OS X Tiger / Leopard
- Basic knowledge of:
- Unix servers
