CGI on cs-club.org

This is mostly a question specific to the SOCIS system staff, but because this is the summer transitional period - I'll just post it here for whomever is reading.

A couple of quick things regarding testing some things I want to develop on my cs-club.org webspace. I'm writing some simple CGI scripts, and I've already confirmed that everything works.

• How can I view the apache error.log files? (To diagnose my 500 errors)
• How can I grant permission to the user running apache to create/modify files?
