migrate old postings from cs-club to socis

i think that would be a great thing to add to socis - migrate the old posts to socis (if its possible) - i'm sure people will probably refer past postings for reference for help / assignments once in a while throughout the remaining of the semester

Yes. All of the forums from the old site will be permanently purged after Saint Patty's day, except for most likely the course forums. Those might stay up until the end of the semester.

I think they're all staying

I think they're all staying until end of semester, but I may be wrong. 12 beers will argue with you no matter how correct you may think you be.

Unable to search in old forums

It would be nice to have them migrated over into some kind of forum(maybe called "Old Board" or something?) here because it seems as if searching doesn't work on the old forums and there is a lot of good information still left over there. Searching doesn't actually seem as though it's disabled(you can still submit a search), but you get no results for your searches, even if you submit a known string.
