It's arrived...

Leopard that is.. (alright, my "physical" copy arrives tomorrow ;) )
Does not disappoint.
Few last minute hitches I wasn't so keen about:
- No iPhone notes sync'ing-- apparently this was a last minute scrap.
- Using time machine with disks not physically connected. At the last minute they removed this (there was a dig post about this today). It *appears* as though you may be able to mount a shared network drive as a time machine volume, but I won't know for a few hours..
Time machine is currently backing up my iMac, but I've been able to tell my MacBook to connect to the same drive (a usb connected to the iMac) for Time Machine, but it doesn't start since it's in use.. Looks positive..
Spaces is great. I'll try "back to my mac" on campus tomorrow.. so far so good over my local network...
Enjoy, the install seems to take forever!

Time machine currently only
Time machine currently only works on networked hard drives if the drive is connected via another leopard computer (sucky). I'm seeing if maybe theres a config file hidden away somewhere, where I can manually specify the drive.
A few notes I'd like to add:
- Its FAST!
- the install didn't take long, about 55-60 minutes.
- Parallels and Synergy both needed to be re-installed
- Its FAST!
- Finder is really cool, and super responsive
- I like the new look, less "glass" more "polish"
- Did I mention it was fast?

has anyone been able to
has anyone been able to connect "back to my mac" on campus? I double checked my settings, and it works at home, but it seems the campus internets has the firewalls that don't provides the services of backs to my macs...
