"Flash Out" Contest: Discuss

From http://www.csgames.org/2008/?page=eventFlashOut :
"So you want to leave your mark at the CS Games 2008 or intimidate other teams from the very beginning? The "Flash Out" contest consists of preparing a short video, animation or slide-show (1 to 2 minutes) presenting your team. It will be placed on the CS Games official web site and will also be shown during the event.
Why should you do this instead of that big term project? If fame and recognition are not enough, note that the video or animation will be worth participation points which count in your overall standing. Files should be compressed to a reasonable size for the web and should be submitted in a widely used format such as QuickTime, DivX/mpeg4, or Flash. You may submit it via our website once you've registered. Note that we require a minimum degree of quality in any submission, generally defined as you won't be ashamed of your submission should you present it to 300 people.
Once done, send your Flash Out at info@csgames.org"
Well, that's the gist. We've got 2 teams, and we've got 28 days to produce two reasonable quality videos that awesome us out. We should start shooting some ideas, try to find out who has video editing/creation skills, try to get a direction for us to travel in. The videos will probably have to have ties to the names, so we'll have more guidance once our names are chosen, but that doesn't prevent discussion.

I'm all for the Starcraft
I'm all for the Starcraft theme. Especially with Starcraft 2 in development.

Obviously, we'd have to put some kind of video in there. Either us lip syncing (terribly would be better), or just use the units and record gameplay/cutscenes?

There has been some favourable discussion regarding a Mr. Rick Astley and a music video he created, also about using StarCraft as our introduction.
