Time: 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Where: Accelerator Centre (295 Hagey Blvd. behind Columbia Ice Fields)

This session, presented by Jean-Luc David, Developer Advisor for Microsoft Canada, is designed to discuss the current techniques of game development. There will be challenges throughout the afternoon, mentorship, and the announcement of an upcoming contest geared specifically to the participants of this session.

Featuring:

· Hands-on instruction for building on the XNA platform and developing 2D and 3D games using Microsoft XNA Game Studio Express

· Exposure to Torque X, from Garage Games

· Challenges

· Contest Announcement, open to those to attend the XNA Game Camp

· Lots of Prizes, including Halo 3, wireless keyboards, webcams and more
