bEddie's early decommissioning

Sadly we have found out that bEddie's damages are worse than we originally thought and there were some third party programs running on there that were acting as spambots. The server is now hiding behind a firewall but will not be used in the open world again. All the email data is stored still, and new emails will be sent to an alternate address but you will need to contact admin@socis.ca and we will be able to forward to it to an email account for you. An IMAP connection will be how you will get any mail that is already being stored on bEddie or we can create you an @socis.ca address to have them automatically filter into. New emails for @socis.ca will be set up with the use of google domains, if you would like one, please send an email from your @uoguelph.ca account containing your first and last name, and your central id along with request to receive one and we will be happy to oblige.
