I'm not sure when the new date was released, the only reason I noticed that it was edited was because Julia advised people to bring DS's. I think, for future events, perhaps a new comment or thread would help increase visibility.

I knew the new date and still almost forgot about it because it got buried on the front page and I didn't see the notice.
