SOCIS Constitution

On October 8th, 2008, the members of SOCIS ratified a new constitution to represent our organization, its aims, and its standards in the most accurate, eloquent, and concise a manner as possible. The work was undertaken in Fall of 2007 to begin work on a revision that became a redrafting, and throughout the year a great deal of work came into what we have today.

The ratified version of the socis constitution is available for viewing/download in pdf format here.

An editable .doc version of that is available here, along with an md5 checksum here.

These versions have been edited to correct typographical errors and to remove markup. This is the only way that they differ from the version shown publicly on the night of the 8th at the SOCIS AGM. The exact version presented that night, with typographical errors and markup present, is preserved here, with its publicly known md5 here. A .tgz containing both is here.
