wanted: small flat-panel monitor

I am looking for a small flat panel monitor (15 in or 17 at most). Anyone have one left over after an upgrade?

You should see if you can

You should see if you can score one of the ones from the CIS labs...now that all the new Sun systems are in play.

If you're in to

If you're in to experimenting and hot-wiring electronics, there's a 15" widescreen display I pulled from a laptop down in the lounge. I have no idea of the proprietary connector mapping, but I would wager there's got to be some way to map it to DVI or VGA. Upside is that it's slim (~1/2" thick), and is easily wall-mountable with screws or thumbtacks.

Might be good if you can find it in Canada. Wicked resolution for the size.
