Orientation Week Events!

O-Week will soon be upon us, and we're hosting a number of events for first years and upper years to mingle in, as well as selling cables as usual from our lounge in Reynolds 010. Read on after the break to see our events!

On Monday, we have "You Bet your @5C11!", a trivia game of epic proportions, with free pop and prizes! Topics will run the nerdy gamut, and to last, opponents will have to know their trivia better than the great Dr. Zoidberg knows the practice of medicine! Takes place in Reynolds 010, from 03:30 PM to 04:30 PM. Participants are welcome to hang out after the event.

On Tuesday, SOCIS goes on a Quest for Pizza! Hunting the wondrous loot known as "Buffet at Pizza Hut", we will drink and eat to our heart's content! Students should arrive at the UC Information Desk for approximately 1:45 so that we can leave for Pizza Hut by 2. We will optionally be walking back to Campus or around the mall afterward. Runs from 2:00 PM until 4:30 PM.

On Wednesday, it's a LAN Gaming Night! We will challenge each other's supremacy in the ultimate contest of skill and might, the original Unreal Tournament! We will have tournament and free-style play, with prizes to be won for the competitive players. Takes place in Reynolds 001A (down the hall from the lounge) from 8:30 PM until 11:00 PM.

Also on Wednesday, we will be at the Resource Fair in the early afternoon! .. Because we're resourceful, and fair. Expect a display, some information, hopefully cool stuff, and Dubble Bubble.
