Mega Man 9

This game makes me happy. It's got some great, evil level design, weapons that I use outside of boss battles and a menu option for enabling sprite flickering when a lot is going on.

Plus, gotta love the catchy tunes.

10$ on WiiWare? I haven't looked yet, but heard. Is it a port, or developed specifically for WiiWare?

Developed specifically for WiiWare, then ported to the XBLA and PSN. Though ignoring the sections for DLC and online time attacks it's pretty near impossible to tell apart from an NES title.

Capcom even had a special

Capcom even had a special offer from their online store where you could order a box for the game shaped just like an NES box, and inside it was an NES cartridge with a MegaMan9 sticker on it and a manual. Too bad there were only about 500 of them.

I bought this game over the weekend. Damn, it's hard. I can't believe how much time I wasted playing these games, and I'm amazed I didn't put my fist through the TV.
