Hello all

Does anyone have experience with SP3 for XP? Any problems similar to those that came about with SP2?

Thanks,

Go ahead and install it. If you've been keeping up with your Windows Updates, there won't be very much for it to do.

It's actually worthwhile to slipstream SP3 into an XP CD for installing, because you don't need to put in a key during install.

Note that if you've upgraded from IE6->IE7, after installing SP3 you will no longer be able to revert back to IE6. Luckily, most people don't want to go back to the monstrosity of IE6!

Disables Task Bar Address Bar

XPSP3 will disable the ability to dock an address bar toolbar in your task bar. Just in case that is relevant to you.
