Guy let me know how well this works

Listserv
People, we have a Listserv engine built into the site, so we can point people at us and give them a "subscribe" button, and we can record all the newsletters we send.
I'm not sure how well it handles HTML formatting though, so gimme some feedback about how ugly this looks.
Apologies for the Bible-ry, I am in an odd mood this morning.
Meeting Minutes from 20 August

- The exec are dead. Long live the exec!
O-Week Events
Quest for Pizza
And God looked to the people, and saw that they were hungry, and He wept, yea.
And so He builded them a hut, and filleded it with pizza, so that the people may eat, and it was good.
And the people came to the hut of pizza, and saw that other people were paying for it, and they did eat, and become round and shiny, whereupon they went exploring to try and burn the grease off.
Tuesday Sept 8th at noon.
Mafia
And the people turned to Lingam and said "Get thee gone, blackest villian, and darken our town no longer"
And Lingam did grow wroth, and spoke with great anger that he was not the Mafia.
But alas! the people did not hear his words, and there was a great burning in the night, and the people were glad.
But in the morning there was a great mourning (ed: omgwtf), for another villager lay dead, and it became clear that Lingam was not the Mafia after all.

You Bet Your ASCII
Then, on a time, the children came upon the Sphinxes, and turning their course they sought another way round, but the Sphinxes surrounded them on all sides, and they could not pass
And the Sphinxes said, "Woe ye mortals, that have come upon us in our lair. Thou cannot leave nor pass, for judgement has come."
But the children were not afraid, and challenged the Sphinxes so they might win their freedom.
Sphinx: Ominous, obscure comp sci question
Children: Horrific pun
And lo! the Sphinxes were undone, and the children passed through their valley and into the light.

LAN Party
Seven times did KillByBlood87 take the red flag, and seven times was he cut down from behind by a saw blade, for the red team were campers.
And the blue team wailed and gnashed their teeth, and cried "wallhax!", but they were undone by spawncamping.
Wherefore they took the Redeemer, and strove to the very gates of the enemy camp, and unleashed it, and its fury was great.
Truly there were none that could withstand it, but it was for naught, because the objective was to get the flag and not just blow people up, and the red team won.

Well, the letter looks
Well, the letter looks pretty good to me. And the events sound like lots of fun (really like the writing style), but I do have a question. Does anyone know how late events can start? Is 8, 8am or pm? Thanks :)
@mswirski I think because
@mswirski
I think because Jason is still testing the settings and the like, only exec/system staff can subscribe at the moment. I'm sure once everything is nice he'll open it up to the rest of the world.
Edit instead of posting another reply:
Oh noes! I didn't realise my two favourite events were on the 8th. :( Alas I will not be there. I will make it for Mafia though.

Martin Lindsay
That was wicked fictitious.
@mswirski: LAN is certainly 8 PM. Mafia could be 9 AM or 9 PM.. Likelier PM, as it's traditionally an evening/night game.
Loved the style of it, and the HTML Preview worked like a charm. Didn't receive a mail though.

as long as there isn't a legion of us
I'm pretty certain so -- if I can make it I'm going to show up for some, and they'd better not turn people away :P
