Haha. I liked it too. Maybe we should look into a theme or something...and hey, if one doesn't already exist, you guys can build it (perhaps we could have a theme-making contest :P)! Isn't Drupal awesome?

edit: in response to TC, it's not quite as simple as "there's a plugin to LDAP". I'm pretty sure we're doing some funky IMAP auth checking, because the University isn't good at information sharing on how to make a non-uog-admin site interface to their LDAP servers.
I had the old CSA website using LDAP (there's a perfectly functional LDAP plugin), but the problem was that CCS had issues with that, and LDAP wasn't always available. I think I remember this site being set to use IMAP for a similar reason - it's much harder for CCS to block IMAP :D
CCS has been working on a proper SSO infrastructure for years now, though it still isn't available for third parties to use.
The biggest thing I miss from the old phpbb setup was forum notifications via email and RSS. There are many ways to do that with Drupal, it would just require the webmaster to set it up.
Ok Andrew I know how to take a hint. I actually also like e-mail notifications, and RSS and thus will begin the labourus task of getting this all working together in a massive ball of Tech-no-Magic. All Hail the Omnissiah!

It's a built in feature to allow users to select different themes - you just have to enable the permission.
Some "themes" may just be javascript changing the active CSS, so in those cases it's one Drupal theme.
